FAQ :
Businesses with an aggregate turnover exceeding ₹100 crore are now required to implement e-invoicing.
This requirement comes into effect from the 1st day of January, 2021.
The previous turnover threshold for e-invoicing was ₹500 crore.
This mandate is governed by sub-rule (4) of rule 48 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017.
