G.S.R. ……(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely: -

FAQ :
The purpose is to further amend specific notifications mentioned in Notification No. 10/2020-Customs, dated 2nd February 2020.
The amendments are made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962.
The Central Government is making these amendments.
The amendments are being made because the Central Government is satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest to do so.
The specific amendments are detailed in the table corresponding to the notifications mentioned in Notification No. 10/2020-Customs.
