NOTIFICATION NO. 26 /(RE-2007) / 2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED 5^th SEPTEMBER, 2007

S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:

1. In second paragraph of Condition 6 of Chapter I A (General Notes to Import Policy) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 2004-2009 notified vide Notification No. 23 dated 14^th August, 2007, M/s MMTC Limited, wherever appearing, shall be substituted by the following :

“M/s MMTC Limited/ M/s Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd. (TANCEM)”

2. This issues in public interest.
