    G.S.R.         (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of section 129A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 49/2005-Customs (N.T.) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R.410(E),dated the17th June, 2005, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table against serial number 45, in column (2), -

(i)           against entry number (1) for the words and letters “Commissioner of Central Excise Mumbai IV”, the words and letter “Commissioner of Service Tax I, Mumbai” shall be substituted; and

(ii)            entry number (2) shall be omitted.

Note:-    The principal notification No. 49/2005-Customs (N.T.), dated the 17th June,2005 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number G.S.R. 410(E) dated the 17th June,2005 and was subsequently amended by Notification No.63/2006- Customs (N.T.), dated the 9th June, 2006 vide number G.S.R. 356(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 9th June, 2006. It was subsequently amended by  Notification No.42/2008- Customs (N.T.), dated the 12th May,2008 vide number G.S.R371(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 12th May,2008. It was subsequently amended by  Notification No.42/2009- Customs (N.T.), dated the 21st April,2009 vide number G.S.R 272(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 21st April 2009.  It was subsequently amended by  Notification No.53/2009- Customs (N.T.), dated the 19th May,2009 vide number G.S.R344(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 19th May 2009. It was subsequently amended by  Notification No.01/2010- Customs (N.T.), dated the 06th January,2010 vide number G.S.R8(E) , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 06th January,2010.
