Job Description :
1. Financial reporting: Accounting for the company has been outsourced to a reputed CA firm. The role of the hire will be to liaison with the firm to ensure all compliances are complete and monthly reports are available (basically get work done from them and resolve queries). Eventually the task will be to get things done inhouse with assistance of a Finance Executive.
a. TDS filings
b. GST returns
c. Monthly and Quarterly financial statements
d. Processing of payroll and payroll compliances like TDS, PF, ESIC,etc.
2. Fundraising : Lead fundraising initiatives with the management team by taking control of the diligence processes - Legal, Financial, Commercial, Tax, Others. Also build financial/valuation models.
3. Investor communications : Take lead on investor communications and ensure all queries are resolved. This inter alia includes preparation of monthly MIS, budgets, PowerPoint presentations, board meeting decks.
4. Optimize returns on idle cash - Set-up processes for cash flow management, ensure maximum and safest return on idle cash
5. Internal processes: Set up robust internal processes and prepare reconciliations to ensure no leakages, process automation and no leakages.
6. Vendor management: Maintain relationships with external vendors (Banks, Payment gateways, etc.). Continuous evaluation of cost base and achieving cost reductions, negotiations, searching for alternatives.
7. Strategic business partnerships: Role will be responsible for the formulation & implementation of corporate financial strategies.
8. Maintainence of appropriate cash balance and initiation of payments against adequate invoices received from various teams.
The individual will directly work with the CEO and COO of the company. The person should be mature enough to handle the F&A work as well as be an advisor to the Founders in all minor & major decisions
Key skills :
1. Extremely proficient with excel and PowerPoint with strong command over the language.
2. The ability to articulate findings in a crisp, concise manner will be a key plus.

Ideal qualification :
1. CA with articleship experience from a top10 CA firm (Big4/GT/Others). Preference is given to CA rank holders. Exposure to regular college is a strong plus (Whether undergrad or post-grad). Having an MBA is a huge plus too; or
2. MBA from a top 10 institute (IIMs, SP Jain, ISB)
3. Relevant experience (3-5 years of post-qualification experience in high octane job environments)
1. Experience in working with VC backed start-ups, internet/tech companies
2. Consulting or IB
Salary Range: 15-20 LPA
