Profile of Executive – Finance & Accounts
Objective: To ensure true & fair accounting and abide all the laws applicable for the smooth running of the orgainsation.
I Statutory duties:
1. STPI: Preparation and submission of
1.1. STPI returns – Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly
1.2. Softex Forms
2. Income tax
2.1. TDS Payment
2.2. Preparation and filing of quarterly eTDS returns
2.3. Issue of Form 16A
2.4. Issue of Form 16
2.5. Preparation and filing Annual Returns
2.6. Advance tax calculation and payment
3. Companies Act
3.1. Preparation and filing of Returns under Company’s Act
3.2. Obtaining Compliance Certificate and adhering to Board Resolutions, Minutes, Notices, AGM Resolution. Special Resolution
3.3. Coordination with Auditors and company Secretary. Preparation of yearly financial statements as per Schedule VI of Companies Act.
4. Commercial Tax
4.1. Preparation and filing of monthly return.
4.2. Preparation and filing Commercial tax Annual return
4.3. Payment of annual fees
5. PF and labour laws.
5.1. Payment of PF dues within due date as per PF Act
5.2. Preparation and filing of PF monthly.
5.3. Preparation and filing of PF annual returns
5.4. Take care of PF transfer and refund of all the employees
5.5. Follow up with PF department for employees PF statement, collect the same and issue to the employees.
5.6. Preparation and filing of returns under labour laws.
5.7. Payment of statutory dues under labour laws.
6. Profession Tax Act
6.1. Payment of profession tax dues
6.2. Preparation and filing of annual returns
6.3. Payment of annual fees
6.4. Prepare documents for profession tax assessments and represent the company if need be.
II Non- statutory Work
1. Accounting of revenue and expenditure as per AS issued by ICAI.
2. Payment to creditors after due verification of bills and receipt of goods or services.
3. Preparation of Invoicing & debit note
4. Preparation of monthly MIS reports
5. Salaries processing of employees.
6. Reimbursements of official expenses to employees.
7. Issuance of salary certificate to employees.
8. Issuance of documents like MOA, copy of Bank statement, IT returns of the company, Past 2 years financial statements to the employees attending visa interview.
9. Bank reconciliation
10. Document management: All documents should be kept in order so that it can be accessible at any point of time with minimum effort.
11. Preparation of additional reports as and when required by Manager – Finance & Accounts.

To familiarize self with all credit control, accounting, quality and other relevant company procedures ensuring that these are strictly adhered to and familiarization with relevant computer packages.
Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary, as per the company’s debt collection procedure.
Dealing with new accounts; Ensuring satisfactory credit references are obtained Setting up the account details on Navision & communication to all relevant parties Establishing an agreed credit limit with the Credit Manager and / or Sales Director Amending accounts details / addresses etc., as required
Ensuring monthly statements are prepared, printed, vetted and ready for posting by the working day of each month.

Help in preparing in annual budget, rolling forecast and cash flow plans.
Monitoring cashflows and suggesting new product-line forecasts.
Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal control systems are implemented and maintained
Developing relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and regulatory authorities
Perform various accounting and non-accounting reconciliations.
Implement financial policies and procedures
Help Management in setting up new offices/business entities
Identify and monitor various risks to company's business and create mechanisms to mitigate those risks.
Overseeing the Payroll process
Payments Management
Set up appropriate processes for payment to Vendors as per contract
Ensure contractual obligations on payments are met on time
Maintain good relationship with creditors
Legal& Secretarial:
Liaison with Company Secretory in order to ensure compliance with Company law and ensuring secretarial records are up to date
Coordinate with board of directors for various compliances under companies act.

Chartered Accountant with at least 25 Years Experience
Good knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Laws relating to Income Tax, Excise, Service Tax and Sales Tax
Good knowledge of Companies Act and related obligations

Job Description • Provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international BIG 4 teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
• Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions

Candidate Profile • 8-12yrs of post qualification financial audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm plus training experience in same or similar organization, or two years of financial reporting/ consolidation experience with a Fortune 500 organization or similar large organization in India.
• Chartered Accountant,CPA or ACCA.
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS framework and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively
