Description of duties & responsibilities:
Role involves maintaining end-to-end Captive Insurance Company’s financial and
underwriting information by liaison between various AIM offices in Europe and
Americas:
o Take lead in maintaining, monitoring and financial reporting of Captive Insurance
companies accounts within the given timeframe
o Preparing of montly/quarterly Trial balance, P&L Account & Balance Sheet, bank
reconciliation and other routine matters.
o Analyzing and updating underwriting statistics
o Ensuring correct classification of accounts and disclosure in the financial
statements. Mapping chart of accounts to ensure the account groups are properly
classified
o Carrying out analytical review of expenses. Analysis of Trial Balance and
Reconciliation of Ledger Accounts
o Applying multi-currency accounting procedures to account for forex gain / loss
o Assists in review of test processes as they are developed. Suggest steps to
improve the process reduce processing time involved in completion of different
accounting related back office process
o Quick response on query resolution with the respective European / American
offices
o Contribute in achieving team objectives
