Generic Job Role Manage the day to day operations of WB Finance global delivery centre. Provide thought leadership on WB Finance Global hub Strategy. Reports to Head Finance shared service centre Direct Reports Senior Managers of WB Country Reporting, Business Reporting, Product control and WB Group reporting Job Purpose Lead the growth and strategic development of WB Finance stream within Finance Shared Services Center in respect of process capabilities, skill sets, talent pipeline, stakeholder engagement, high quality service delivery and controls. Key Responsibilites Overseeing and providing on going management direction for all processes and activities undertaken for WB Finance. Introduce and maintain high quality standards with respect to service delivery. Ensuring that an effective system of financial and operational controls are introduced, maintained and continually enhanced. Ensure robust KRI or KCS controls and checks are in place to manage operational risks. Ensure that major activities and processes are well documented and that a robust BCP plan is in place. Ensure that all the critical performance targets or standards as agreed and defined under the Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded. Embed a culture of continuous process and efficiency improvement within all teams and ensure that a process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities. Deliver on annual productivity or cost saves targets. Constantly explore opportunities for migration into the hub and bring out a compulsive case for end to end migration from countries. Work closely with business and country CFOs to augment the numbers. Working closely with the other Shared Service Centre divisional managers to ensure proper running of the centre and support for the Head of the Shared Services Centre in ensuring a high level of support and service for the countries businesses served. As a Top Management Team member, contribute to the strategic development of the centre and support driving units collective agenda. Work with HR to enhance the talent or skill sets to meet the growing complexity and needs of WB. Ensure that right talent is attracted and retained for all key roles and work with HR to structure right compensation for the division. Actively work on attrition management for the unit. Create sufficient bench to manage attrition efficiently. Look for ways and means for continuously promoting forums for employee engagements. Encourage employees on their creativity, learning and development and bring some fun at work. Drive process standardisation and best practice sharing across all teams within WB. Participate and Support in all Global WB Finance initiatives as launched from time to time. E.g. Controls, Reengineering, Training etc. Effectively handle change management post migration of new processes from design to delivery tothe unit. Manage and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes
