Role: Head of Finance, Accounts & Taxation.

Key Responsibilities-

β€’ Lead management of overall Accounting function & Financial Reporting.
β€’ FP&A, Budgeting, Financial Control.
β€’ Risk Management.
β€’ Audits – Statutory and Internal.
β€’ Setting up/ review of Accounting Systems.
β€’ Funds flow forecast and management.
β€’ Management of working capital & project capital.
β€’ Mobilisation of funds, both long term & Short term.
β€’ Hedging of foreign currency & interest rate exposure.
β€’ Conducting financial feasibility of projects, preparation of project report & exposure to project finance.
β€’ Taxation – Direct & Indirect. Overall responsibility for tax planning, tax audits, compliance, returns filing, assessment etc.

β€’ Training – to departmental & from non-finance functions.
β€’ Subject matter expert – To keep abreast of changes & likely changes in accounting/ tax laws, rules and procedures and explain implications thereof to the concerned in the organisation.
β€’ Contracts/Agreements vetting from the point of view of financial prudence.
β€’ Representation/ co-ordination with- tax departments, banks, auditors, insurance co etc.
β€’ Other responsibilities- like insurance, payroll etc.
β€’ Work closely with/ support CEO & peer group.
