Vacancy: VP Finance
Role: Head of Finance, Accounts & Taxation.
Domain: Consumer Products

Qualifications:
CA/ICWA, MBA (Fin)

Key Responsibilities-

• Lead management of overall Accounting function & Financial Reporting.
• FP&A, Budgeting, Financial Control.
• Risk Management.
• Audits – Statutory and Internal.
• Setting up/ review of Accounting Systems.
• Funds flow forecast and management.
• Management of working capital & project capital.
• Mobilisation of funds, both long term & Short term.
• Hedging of foreign currency & interest rate exposure.
• Conducting financial feasibility of projects, preparation of project report & exposure to project finance.
• Taxation – Direct & Indirect. Overall responsibility for tax planning, tax audits, compliance, returns filing, assessment etc.

• Training – to departmental & from non-finance functions.
• Subject matter expert – To keep abreast of changes & likely changes in accounting/ tax laws, rules and procedures and explain implications thereof to the concerned in the organisation.
• Contracts/Agreements vetting from the point of view of financial prudence.
• Representation/ co-ordination with- tax departments, banks, auditors, insurance co etc.
• Other responsibilities- like insurance, payroll etc.
• Work closely with/ support CEO & peer group.

Desired Profile

 CA/ICWA, MBA (Fin) and should have around 15 years experience preferably in consumer products/ retail industry.
 Prior experience in similar role/responsibility is desirable.
 Should have worked in growing, medium sized organisation organisations, preferably.
 Attributes-high functional proficiency, organising ability, team skills & results orientation

Experience and skill sets should include-

 Implementation 0f financial policies of the company
 Planning and administration of business plans budget and forecasts.
 Mobilization of short and long term funds and deployment.
 Management of the accounting functions
 Catalyze cost reduction efforts
 Financial analysis of decisions
 Costing and pricing
 Effective implementation of internal controls as per company guidelines.
 Taxation
