Ya its very difficlut to pass in first attempt within a less period of time.......

But its worth a try..

and dont loose your hope...

all the best... please dont loose your hope....

analyse d trend, do qus & ans. 4m compilation, suggested answers available 4m institute..

if u do dem with proper understanding one can atleast pass d examz.

usually wen v hv time v think to do a lot more & finally realise dat ultimately we 2 hv to rely on  d same i.e. compilation + suggested

for dose people running short of time compilation & suggested r d best...

Shilpa jee,

Dont think that u cant do this. Actually CPT is all about  4 Subjects and its really a mind game. It depends on u that how u attend the paper. Just  study hard in Accounts, Mercantile Law and Economics if u are not frm maths background. Coz these 3 subjects are scoring and 1st session is a scoring one. So, try to do good in 1st session, and ue second session will be good automatically. Just try to do 150-160 que. because attempting more question will deduct ur marks if u hav done that wrong. Be Calculative and attempt the Exam. All D very best.

I agree with Anoop.Infact u can clear CPT in a single attempt if u prepare for 3 to 4 months in a full swing. As u r already an Accountant i dont think it is a big deal for u to score high in Accounts..LAW as far as i knw is the easiest subject in CPT where u can score 35 or even above.Economics goes by concepts,so if u r well worse in concepts u can score high in that too.

The only subject u have to concentrate more is QT..My opinion if u r an average performer u will be able to attend 25 questions..

So,GET GOING !! PASSING CPT IS NOT A BIG DEAL !!!

IF U REALLY WORK HARD,U'LL GET WHAT U DESERVE..

ALL THE BEST !!

Don't worry, you can easily clear CPT.As you are from accounts line ,basic knowledge of accounts is there which is all needed.for other subjects you can easily study in 2-3 months .CPT is not a big job ,In PCC and final u will have to study hard.... BEST OF LUCK

Hello Shilpa Jee........

As Mr. Anoop & Padmapriya said it is not difficult to clear CPT in the very first attempt.

I think u have a lot of time to prepare,

just go through the books provided by the institute & after that with the help of a Scanner & suggested answers provided by the institute,

you will be able not only pass the exams but also score good marks.

BEST OF LUCK

Take Care

I appreciate all your suggestions & possitive hints. Thank You

Hello Shilpa Ji..

Going for Dec CPT exam do practicing along with study as much as u can. onlinetestangle.com will help u doing practice subject wise and chapter wise. Mock at the time of exam will really helpful. Onlinetestangle gave good result in CPT june. My cousin also cracked CPT with the help of this portal.

mam clearing cpt in one attempt is not very difficult

u jst mainly focus on those subjects in which u face any difficulty

like accounts is a little bit easy as compare to maths..

no need to worry....just go 4 it...+

don't worry as cpt is very first stage and not so difficult to clear.it is a objective exam and passing marks is 100.......focus on those subject which are strong........plan everything in advance......all the best!!!!!!!!!!!i  best wishes for u!!!!!!!!!

-Clearing CPT in first attempt is not difficult at all

-Read Accounts first: Even if it takes time make sure you understand the concepts, once you do that you wont even need a revision. You dont have to remember the very very exact detail as it is MCQ based exams.

-Than Mercantile Law:again go slow and get the concepts and you are done. You may think that Mercantile law book is thin and you should finish it quickly. On the contrary go slow and get the concepts. Bcoz this is the scoring part.

Unless you are good in maths, you should aim for 80 from the first paper (acc+merc law)

-Economics:divided in two parts -> micro and macro. micro is theory based and a few practical problems. get the fundas. the latter half of the book i.e. macro is something which you should just give a reading. As far as I remember there is not much you can learn there. Just read that portion and read it once again before the exams. Go slow in micro and go fast in macro.

-Maths:you will have to go through the book and identify areas which you find easy and prepare for them. Like some eqn based questions, statistical part etc etc.

6 months is very much sufficient. Dont worry be confident and study without tension and be relaxed.

never worry about cpt as there are no indepth questioning......

3 hrs of study  a day from now, u can easily pass it without breaking a sweat.

 please dont lose ur hope......

that is the secret of success
