First your seniors will teach you, how to do Auditing (work depends upon the nature of CA's client) and then you will gain experience by performing Audit of different entities.

Taxation related work:

Main work is to file returns (Direct Taxation - ITR, TDS etc. , Indirect Taxation - Sales Tax, Service Tax etc.)
Other work like Case Appeals with Taxation Authorities, Work related to Registrar of Companies, Bank Loans etc.

In Short, You will be taught to work with which you will make money in your whole life.
