yes ... institute will give u notice regarding dat u hv 2 submit ur work diary ...

till now i ve not received such notice ... i  didnt submit any attendence record also...wat to do

it's not mandatory to file with ICAI,

ICAI says that we need to maintain, just maintain it and send or submit when they ask u r pick u randomly @ checking or in enquiry.

don't feel tensed...

We as a student know very well that it is not feasible for institute also to ask for and review work diary of approx. 4.5 Lac CA students and tha too every month. They have issued notification on 27.03.09 stating the same, therefore they can ask for the same at any point of time on test basis for any article. So to be on our safer side, it is recommended to maintain our own record punctually, so that in case of any demand we can serve ICAI very well and be releived of any further hindrances.
