Work contract - important issue
One proprietorship firm providing service to corporate and billing structure would be for material separate bills shall be issued with sales tax and for labour separate bills shall be issued with 14.5% service tax amount ..
My doubt is whether it will cover under works contract & corporate is required to pay service tax under Reverse charge mechanism
pls. clear doubt

If you are raising separate bills for supply of goods and provison of service, then it is no longer a works contract and no service tax is applicable on reverse charge basis.
