sudarshan agrawal my teacher and my mentor (though he doesnt know about the mentor thing,its more like i look at him as my mentor) gave some very importent advice to us that day whic I would share with u:

1.Dont talk to your loved ones too much on mobile ,he said if u talk 2 ur loved ones it takes up an emotional space in ur brain which would guarantee to hamper ur studies.He is also against internet specifically i think he is against internet chat rooms,sites like orkut ,facebook .

2.when u come out of the exam hall tear up ur question paper right then ,right there.According to himthe question paper which u bring home from exam is a silent killer.It would seduce u 2 calculate her marks which would result in hampering ur next day's exam

3.after giving ur exam if one of ur exam goes bad never think like "iske baad ka exam dekar kya hoga".Sir said "who are u to judge what performence u gave in the hall,let us do that,you just give your exam.

4.dont watch any movie one month before the exam.It takes up your brains memory space.

This is 100% correct. I had this very bad habit of calculating marks after reaching home ,even till Result declaration Date!!!!! But from now i Won do that blunder anymore.
