can a women act as both the roles as

1. Women Director and
2. Independent director in the same listed company.

Yes ,it can be appointed ,companies act says Executive or Non Executive ,LODR says At least one woman I/D ,No Act says two women director ,so you can appoint a single woman as a Non Executive Independent Director and comply with both provisions...
