Witheld of ca final results

Dear all,

One of mine friend just got a letter and a Form, from the institute stating that if his articleship doesnot complete by 31st oct 2013 including excess then his results will be withheld. But the problem is his principle is not signing in the form as he think if he does so the article will be released. As per leave calculation, his article ship period will be completed within the specify period, provided he is allowed the credit of work done by him on sundays (outstation) now the problem is he is in doubt that what will happen to his results.

Please help and can u suggest to whom he can talk to or made application to.

You can contact examinations department for clarifications ..... Ask your friend not to worry .......

N wat should he do regarding no credit of working on sundays (outstation)?

See consideration of work done on sundays is purely at the descrition of the Principle CA. You can request to the principle CA for his kind consideration as audit work performed on sunday is purely on mutual consideration of Principle CA and articled clerk.

On exam form your friend's Principle CA must have signed as in " Eligibility to appear for Exams " section.

If he had not approved that by his own Principle CA then the CA who had signed your friend's exam form shall write a letter to ICAi examinations declaring that the stundent has completed required period of articleship to appear for in exams.

Try your best. Do not loose heart.
