For mandatory withdrawal (e.g., exceeding turnover limits), you must file Form GST CMP-04 within 7 days. For voluntary withdrawal, you can file it at any time, but it cannot be backdated. After withdrawing, remember to file GST ITC-01 within 30 days to claim credit on your remaining stock.
