many(infact all) CMA/CWA grads have quoted "Expected Pay Scale Rs.150,000/- to Rs.300,000/-p.a." Y :'( ??
is value of CMA so less ?? even people with a Bcom degree earn better than that :(

Yes you cannot compare a professional cources like CA, and CWA with graduations cources,
and you canot find any where who gets a pay of 25000pm as a fresher graduate,
And CWA is valuable course defienetely,And expection of salary is depend on applicants expecancy,
You cannot simply expect the same for all
one with proper command over the subject will recruited for attractive pay package for sure.

Dear Ganesh, thank you very much for your reply. But I only said that, so that people won't directly address their replies to me.
It is not like that ,Initially pakage may not attractive but with adequite exposure you will get a CTS 15 to 20 lacs pa.There are lot of CFOs are CMAs in both pvt. and public sector, with the opening up of lot of opportunities in days to ahead there will be lot of demand for this specialised profession.Institute is also working in a very proactive manner,whole service sector will be opened up within few years for Cost Audit.Now lot of young CMAs are comming for practice with lot of increasing scope for practice , there are lacs and lacs of companies in manufacturing sector coming under mandetory Cost Audit . CMAS are only 50000 in India . So do not worry you will have a very bright future ahead.

well because CMA basically work well for Govt. Mfr departments...
I could only say the time of Manufacturing is on low points now... focus on the work and getting the experience i hope it will eventually pay...
Because the Field of finance is highly oversupplied.. the market with push down..
But then the problem is CA are the best substitute for CMA's
Bad Choice. Can't Help.
