I would like to know who will be held responsible for mistakes in ITR filing, Assessee or Accountant, assuming Assessee provided all information to Accountant for ITR submission, but Accountant made mistake in their classification ?

As far as the department is concerned, assessee only will be responsible as he is verifying ITRV/affixing Digital Signature/OTP etc.
