whether to convert in new course or not

attempt may 2020 ca final level old course.
i have not given any exam in last 2.5 yrs due to family problems...
now planning to give exams in may 2020 with whole of efforts and target is rank.
whether conversion in new syllabus is beneficial

new syllabus WL be more beneficial... I m also writing grup2 in new syllabus...
