When will I get RTP for May 2010 in Post ?

if you have need hard copy please buy from ICAI Branch office.

if you have need soft copy of rtp then you can download from ICAI Website.

I heard that if a student is appearing for the exams for the first time then they will send RTP by post at free of cost, is it not so ?

yes ..right..I hav got the RTP of november 2009-PCC ...exam by post..free of cost..!!

But please let me know, how much time before the exams did you receive RTP in post ?

about 10 to 15 dayz before the attempt...

well its not free of cost...its cost is already included in examination fees...so nthing is free of cost.

Please dont wait for  it, my attempt was in Nov 09 (1st attempt)and i have not received the RTP & then i have to purchase it from institute just 3 days before exams.

In June 09 (1st attempt)also my friend doesn't received RTP.

Dont just sit & wait for RTP. Its not sure that institiute will send you RTP. All students do not receive RTP. I have never received RTP in any of my exams. If you dont receive till March end then just go to institiue & buy.

DEAR I M ALSO TOTALLY AGREE WITH MONIKA, ME & MY SOME FRIENDS DID NOT RECEIVE ANY RTP FROM INSITUTE EVEN 1 TIME

rtp is out on icai portal

institute will despatch RTP JUST 20 DAYS before exam. i got RTP only 2weeks before exam. people who are writing fot the first time will get it by post. but it is better to go to institute and buy it .
