I have cleared my CA Final in May 2009. My articleship period is completing on 15th Feb 2010. I will submit 108 on 16th feb as planned. I want to ask that, Can I apply for membership on the very next day or I should have to wait till institute register the completion of my articleship ???

I have also completed my GMCS. I am eligible in all other respects also. What i want to know is just that can i apply for membership as on 17th Feb even if the institute has not processed my articleship completion application i.e. Form no. 108.
The certified true copy (by a Chartered Accountant or Gazetted Officer) of the following documents
are required to be attached:
(i) Educational Qualifications.
(ii) Mark sheets of C.A. Final Examination.
(iii) Training Completion Certificate.
(iv) Certificate of participation of Course of General Management & Communication skills.
(v) High School/Higher Secondary School Certificate as proof of date of birth(if not submitted
earlier)

CWA can certify all abovementioned documents.

Under "Enrolment as Member" only the Principal or a Certified/Practicing CA can only certify.
