Mutual fund is the less risky investment as well as its yeilds less return.Mutual fund investment is very safe investment. When you have less money but you want to invest in the market then mutaul fund is the best option to go through it because the fund manager pools the money from different investors and invest it in a diversed portfolio in the market which in turns minimise the risk and give maximum profit but the share of profil you get at the end is not much.Mutual fund investments is hence in the safer side.

Which are the best Smallcap and Midcap Mutual Funds from Icici and Reliance?

There is one called Reliance Long Term Equity for small and mid cap companies. The fund defines the small and mid cap stocks as follows: any stock having market capitalisation below Rs. 250 crores as a small cap stock and any stock having market capitalisation between Rs 250 crore to Rs. 1500 crore as a mid cap stock.

good information .Thanks!

i wanted to know something about Reliance Regular Savings Equity midcap mutual funds. If anyone has any information on it...Pls share!

Reliance Regular Savings Equity is a multicap fund It is a combination of both large caps as well as mid cap stocks.

The risk is probably much more higher but since if you decide to invest in multi caps as an investor you are assured of having some options that will perform well in just about any market condition.

So i will advice you to go for it!

Any good large cap funds available from mutual fund houses like ICICI,Franklin Templeton and Reliance?
