Bank balances available on demand/deposits with original maturity of 3 months or less included under ‘Cash and cash equivalents’ ??????????
Bank deposits due to mature within 12 months of the reporting date included under ‘Other bank balances’ ????????????
Bank deposits due to mature after 12 months of the reporting date included under ‘Other non-current assets’ (refer note 17) ???????????

i think its because those maturing within 3 months are liquid and can b easily convrted into cash. hence cash equivalent. for 2nd 1:since it is for less than 12 mnths it qualifies as current asset, whereas 3rd 1 being above 12 mnths is non current
