WCT & VAT

Dear Sir,
We are the electrical maintenance contractor for BSNL in UP.Please tell me that we have to pay wct on the same billing otherwise on payment received & what is the rate for wct payment.BSNL is also deducting 4% from our payment.We are suggested that we have to pay 12.5% on receipt.

Dear sir,

If you have labour and material in your contract and if BSNL is maintaining books of account showing labour and material both seperately then it is not composite and hence 12.5 % on material purchase will be liable, otherwise if you have done composition and didnt maintain books of purchase then only 4% on total contract VALUE.

Hello Friends ..........................I have a query related to wct...........our company is liable to pay wct and it is also taking some input services on which job worker is also applying wct under composition scheme @ 4.2%, my query is whether my company can take input credit of this wct ( my company is paying wct under cost plus profit basis)................my other query is that some material is being send under e-1 sale basis whether we are liable to pay wct on these sale also...............thanks in advance.............
