we are into civil work contracts (construction)
we have incurred water proofing expenses at our site. i am aware its a revenue expenditure & need to capitalize. but expense head should repairs & maintenance or different?
please advise.

yes Repair & Maintenance is right,
if construction is in processing, then we can use construction WIP
if construction is in processing, then we can use construction WIP
It is the cost of asset, of your a builder and selling them
