Please reply to my query its very urgent regarding wealth tax appeal.
One of our client was assesseed to scrutiny and the case was dismissed by the officer by adding wealth. we want to oppose that and have preferred for an appeal . how much fees to be deposited for appeal. 250/- or something else,.
In respect of appeals under Wealth-tax Act to Commissioner (Appeals), fee of Rs.250/- is payable.
Appeals is required to be filed in Form No.E of Wealth Tax Rules.
Appeal to CWT(Appeals) in Form E wid Fee of Rs.250/- within 30days.
Appeal to Tribunal in Form F wid Fee of Rs.1000/- (in case of netwealth) or Fee of Rs. 500/- (in any other case) within 60days.
what is the slab of fee of appeal . the addition made is 59,25,00/- and total wealth is 84,00,000/- . Under what section appeal is to be preferred.
No slab in wealth tax. Rs. 250/- to be paid as filing fees to CIT(A).
Appeal before CWT (Appeals) has to be preferred u/s. 23A(3)
