Step 1 : Open Profit & Loss A/c

Step 2 : Press F7

Step 3 : One Window will appear showing all the valuation methods

Step 4 : Select any one which you want

Now the closing stock will be valued according to the selected valuation method

And if you want the break up of stock items as per the selected valuation method then just go into the closing stock

Please let me know, if you have any problem relating above

thanks sir for help

is thereany provisions in tally 7.2 to change the valuation of single item of stock from default to fifo?

thanking you

Yup, u can do it,

Just open the ledger alteration window, press F12, in the Inventory Masters Field, Mark 'YES' for "Allow Advance Entries in the Masters".

Now Press Ctrl+A,

In the Inventory Alteration Form, in Behaviour Field , Change the Market Valuation Method, as you want...
