Urgent regarding form 108 for PCC students

hey do not worry...try and fill up the form as much as you can....basically a ruf draft...then discuss the same with your principle...He'll help you out...

Dear Sucheta

The form is generally filled in consulation with the employer / principal. There are only two main points to fill in the form one is the work experience and other is the time devoted in various fields while working in weeks.

As suggested by Ankur bhai first u can first prepare a draft in excel format and then in consultation with your principal finalised and fill the form accordingly.

Also one more thing if your have taken excees leave and your pricipal does not consider the leaves as per rules then you will have to fill form no. 107 for extention of articleship i. e. you will have to enter into supplementary deed of articles.

One more point there is a problem with form 108 that it contains only column for 3 years whereas details needs to be filed for 3 and a half years. So a modified form which has space to put details for 4 years has been posted by G. K. in this link which has been approved by ICAI (as mentioned by him) for filing the form. This is what we are here Ankur bhai for helping other by sharing our knowledge as a part of our social responsibiltiy towards the society though in the virtual world.

Small maths of Form 108 for PCC students:

1. No of days  = 3.5*365 = 1277.5 = 1278

2. Less Leave shown in form 108 =   140 (assumed)

3. Days remaining                             =1138

4. Approx weeks work experience to be shown = 163 (1138/7)

Advice from my ICAI branch orally

1. Show about 157 days leave max, there may be some conflict between their leave computation and ours.... (actually happens sometimes, might become excess by their computation, while we dont have any)

2. Use e-sahaayataa maximum to resolve your queries at earliest, send the form to get there within 30 days of completion.

And I got my letter of completion. Same form. No issues with ICAI.

I have the same doubt as Souveek, even my articleship is completed but i m still left to clear my PCC, so what would be the circumstances, will my former employee be signing? or i can get it attested thru any other FCA.
