Hi guys, its quite urgent.

I Strted CA course in 2007 by clearning CPT, in 2010 i convert into IPCC by the time i cleared approx 2.5 years of articleship, then i started doing job, now i want to continue my education, if i join somewhere as an article, my previous articleship period would be count? as it has a 5 years long break or do i have to start articleship all over again..or for the remaining period....

Previous articleship will be counted . have u submitted papers for break. Further see your ipcc registration is valid till date. Pay necessary fees and u can continue the course if u have real interest. Contact regional office and update yourself. All the best

Yes. It will count. I had the same issue, but my earlier articleship was for 6 months under pcc scheme. They have reduced such period from 3 years of articleship now. If you havent terminated your previous articleship, do it now.

Yes it will count when you got registered for articleship after clear cpt exam....

Thanku guys...actually i converted from PCC to IPCC and took transfer, by the time i completed my 2.5 years training, and with conversion into IPCC there was a condition that, for further continuation of articleship, i had to clear IPCC exam (1st group).after tht i strted doing job....and didn't sit for further exams. That was the case....Anyways thanks a lot guys for ur valuable reply..
