I would like to know if a student joining articleship under the Direct Entry scheme can practically do articlesfor 9 months and then quit articleship so as to take about 6 months for ipcc exam preparation and then resume articleship? This is my friend's query and I would like to know if articleship transfer/termination rules permit the same?

One needs to be registered under a principal during the period of Articleship so as to eligible to appear in the examination.
