Till 30.04.2010 whatever the amendment/notifiction/circular are being issued in the Gazette are applicable for the Exam. 6 months prior to exam are applicable.This is the general phenomenon, but sometimes Institute may not follow this & may give a question pertaining to latest decision ,judgement / notification or amendament. This is for you Direct taxes, When it comes to Indirect taxes you may even expect the question  of the VERY LATEST may be judgement / amendment /notification of one month old also.
