Unable to validate jason file uploaded - cannot understand the error

Today (9 Sep 2021) I have tried repeatedly to upload json file and file my income tax. Repeatedly I am getting the error on quarterly distribution of dividend amounts, at the final stage, as below:

Category of Defect A

In Schedule OS, Sl. No. 10 the quarterly break up of Dividend Income (i+ii+iii+iv+v) is not equal to [1a-DTAA Dividend -System calculated value at 3aii] of Schedule OS.

I have tried with the latest version ITDe-Filing Setup 1.0.12.exe

Experts, Kindly help to fix this, as I am nervous that only 20 days are left now.

Don't be nervous. Due dates have been extended today. Hope Income Tax Portal will work properly and such issues will not arise.

Dear Mr. Ram,

I think you have dividend income if yes then fill the first schedule.
what your Gross total dividend in full year FY-2020-21, then divide it when you received the dividend.

From 01/04/20 to 15/06
From 16/06/20 to 15/09
From 16/09/20 to 15/12
From 16/12/20 to 15/03/21
From 16/03/21 to 31/03/21

Thanks for the kind advice.

But I think I have already done as you have suggested:

The only dividend income I have for the AY 2021-22 is Rs. 6350/- , received from an Indian Company. The TDS amount is Rs. 476/- (7.5% of Rs. 6350/-). Please refer to the following cut & paste from my 26AS:

I had divided the above amount as follows:

From 01/04/20 to 15/06 : 0.0

From 16/06/20 to 15/09 : 6350.00

From 16/09/20 to 15/12 : 0.0

From 16/12/20 to 15/03/21 : 0.0

From 16/03/21 to 31/03/21 : 0.0

My status is ‘Resident’ and as I said, the company that paid the dividend is an Indian company, and I do not have any shares with a foreign company. So I am puzzled why the “1a-DTAA Dividend System calculated at 3a ii” should be applicable at all in my case!

At the verification stage no error is reported and I am encouragingly prompted for the 'json' upload !

Possibly is it because I had a NRI status until about 3 years ago and I am still be assessed by ADIT (International Taxation) Cell?

Appreciate any further suggestion/ advise from you.

Thanks for your response. Indeed, I follow your every instruction; unfortunately nothing seems to work - the same error message, again and again!

I must have tried some 35 plus times, over the past 3 days.

From the Caclubindia forums and the youtube videos on the subject, I understand that several tax payers are facing the same problem (see Mr. Gaurav Gupta's response above also).
