Unable to insert row/column by right click

For inserting row/column use ctrl + and not ctrl shift +

Highlight full row with cursor and then try right click...u ll get it

This may occur due to the usage of IT return software. I have encountered problem of this type recently. Microsoft forum has provided solution. There will be a repair option in microsoft excel, which can be done through "Add and remove programs". This resets the default settings for excel, so that the problem will be repaired. There is another solution however. Go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel Rename Excel15.xlb to Excel15.old
