i have a transportaion firm in which transport the Bulk bitumen from mathura refinery to different divisions of PWD which is totally under the ip govt.

u need to take GST registration if ur turnover in preceding financial year exceeds 20 lacs or in the current year it is likely to exceed.
you can get it registered as Proprietary firm if u running it individually. As a partnership if u are running the business in partnership.
Lots of formalities are involved, so it's better to consult a CA or u may want to do it your own.
