Transferf of Funds to UK

Can a wife transfer funds from her indian account to her husband's UK account. Its already been taxed in India. Will there be any tax liability in UK? What purpose one can show at the time of transfer? Her husband is in need of money right now?

as chapter of clubbing the amt should be taxed to wife but, as the amount is transferred to outside india the cluses of DTAA will be applied. SO, the tax will be based on the treaty of India and UK. so we have to read treaty for the same

DTAA will be applicable when a payment is made for some expenses incurred for payment made towards consultancy, legal fees, architecht fees, technical fees, etc. Isn't it ?
