case:

A company has imported raw materials for its business. The company has obtained a duty free import licence for the same. Can this company transfer/sell some of its raw materials to another group company  doing the same business? If so what are the requirements. The other company does not have any import licence.

 Hi Alok ,

I am planning to Import some material ( read Scrap of Coated abrasives ) from Indonesia, can you kindly update me, if there is any scheme where in I can import "duty free ", as it is around 27 % or so otherwise , and also if there is any scheme under which we can import with a lesser duty , as we are  a SSI ( turnover of 1,20,00000 for the fin year 2009-2010 )

 Thanks and Regards
