Hai i stay in village and i have completed 1.5yrs of articleship and now i would like to transfer my articleship in chennai to another firm since my classes goes in chennai. it is too difficult for me to travel between and hence i would like to transfer the firm?? will the institute consider it as valid reason?? i will be staying in hostel in chennai. what form should i submit?? what is the remedy for me?? friends kindly give me suggestions.

difficult to trasfer articles after 1 year
You have to provide sufficient reasons as per the regulations for transfer of articles

See Trasfer can allowed By institute any time.. Thing is that your Principal ready to give you transfer..
Legal Rules with us that, we can take transfer within 1 year in any cost..
After 1 year,, its all depends upone your relation with Principal..
I think 108 is Form for trasfer.. Pls cheak confirmly on icai.org you can easily download from there.
