Hey all...i hav a query regarding my articleship transfer,actually my first year of articleship will compleet in september 10th 2012, i am thinking to transfer my articleship in august.if terminate my articleship on 15th august can i rejoin a new firm on 17th or 18th?(ie without getting confirmation letter from icai)i f i get a confirmation from icai after september 10th ,can i able to send my rejoining application form september 11th?(1 year i s already got over)will it be considered as transfer and rejoining within 1 year?plaese help...

1)ucan take transfer even one day before completion of 1st year
2)u can rejoin under another chartered accountant even on the next day also (provided u hav to re-register in th same city)(ex:date of term:01/01/2012,u can rejoin from :02/01/2012)
if you are re-registering in other place 2 or 3 days gap is recommended
3)u can rejoin on the very next day from date of ur termination,provided u are re-registering in same city
no need to wait for icai reply,it will takes around 20-25 days,recently i done this procedure
as you are in 1st year article icai will not impose any restriction on transfer...
yes u can take transfer without ICAI confirmation and u can register after completion of 1 year..
