Transfer in articleship
Hello everyone....
I hav a query regarding tfr during artclship. My frnd started his articlship in Oct 2011. Now my question is, can he take tfr in the first week of Oct, 2012 bcoz if he take tfr in the first week of oct so his first year of artcleship is not over, bt i hav heard that in giving tfr ICAI takes approx 2 to 2.5 mnths. So if he take tfr in oct , so his tfr will be valid or not?
Plz rply as soon as possible...

During the first year, you need not take any prior permission from the institute and you can also re-register with another CA at any time after your existing principal signs your Form 109 (i.e., you need not wait for the "letter of confirmation of your termination from the first principal", from the Institute, for re-registering with another CA).
