Stiphend paid to Trainee (Production Dept.), where it reflects whether Direct expenses or Other admin expenses.
Whether it covers under any statutory requirements?
Please guide me.

Its depend on the nature of the work of the trainee.. if his work is directly related with prodn cost of goods than it will otherwise it will not.. but as i feel it should not be part of direct exp
If they are doing the same work as other people in the prodn dept are doing, then direct exp
otherwise admin exp
