a student who passed the cpt has to learn the things practically like auditing.

But the cpt student doesnt have that much knowledge he or she should learn each and every point that requires for an audit.

and the more than that what a student learns is how th\ings go practically.

But the situation outside is very different.

Be patient and have a plan to do every thing

2. What i wanted to know was what type of work..bank audit, company audit, income tax, etc..In these terms, what is the type of work a student should look out for to get maximum experience?

is u r result out ? if not go to a small aaudit firm and ask that u will wrk freely over there and wrk for 2 months ,
 

once the result is out go to a medium based firm

learning wrk is as important as preparing 4ru exam , thk of that before u choose a firm

terms and conditions with u r auditor regaurding leave, out station audit and other issues

thanks, RAVI..that helps. It sure is important to work amd study at the same time ( And my result is out, but all the medium firms do not have vacancies.)

hey ravi kumar, i'm sorry, but im facing the same situation now..there are very few vacancies. Keep lookin, buddy! (oh, and it depends which city you're from. I'm talking only about thane, dunno about any other city.)

if your firm have more than 300 files

 in which more than 50 are pvt co.

your firm is good position

According to me the ca firm should provide basic training before delegating the duties and the firm should give the work to a cpt cleared students basic work. The areas such as Audit, Taxation should be concentrated

Firstly they sholud train before assinging the work
