Termination of articleship within 1 year

Dear friend,

Articleship can be terminated only after 3 years of completing it for IPCC and 3.5 years for PCC.

However you can "transfer" it within one year.

This option can be execercised only once in 1st year. You are supposed to fill in the form no. 109 which is available on institute's site under the head Students.

One personal advice I would suggest you is take 3 copies before submitting it in the institute.

thnx ritesh..but i want to know is there any formality regarding sending an APPLICATION to the institute for transfer before submitting form 109..??

There is no need to send any application to institute regarding transfership.

Form 109 itself is an application of the same.

Even i have taken termination from the current firm and have just sent 109 form to the institute and kept 2 copies with me.....

So in first year there is no need of consent, it is needed in next 2 years if one is taking transfer.
