Termination of articleship

Hi all,

I have sent my termination documents namely the form 120 along with the supporting documents after having a word with the icai. But it seems they have not sacntioning transfers oflate and if mine is not approved, then i will have to get back to the old employer to continue my articleship.

But my employer does not seem to know any of these rules and he is already in the process of signing my form 109. If the transfer is not approved, then how do i convince him to take me back? What if he refuses from taking me back uner him?

Any remedies available?

Heu on which basis have u applied for transfer ?

Dear Ashwin

There has been change in the rules pertaining to transfer of articleship.

The said is now not easily available, you have to talk again with the ICAI officials for the remidy.

CA can't refuse for joining because there is no transfer at all.

My kind suggestion is to have a ward with ICAI immediately.

I have applied on medical grounds only. I have attached all the required medical test reports along with the required doctor certificate clearly stating the problem. Will icai still refuse it? My only concern was about getting back to the same employer again. If the employer cannot refuse taking me back agin under him as per icai rules, then i have no issues.

Hey all the applications regarding the transfer on medical ground are rejected . I dont know the reason. But it is there. From some non-reliable sources i come to know that the new amendment regarding articleship transfer will come on 13th march. Till that best of luck.
