Termination of articles on medical reason

Hai Friends ,

I am Doing Artilces in Visakhapatnam i was completed 1.5 year Articles period , am Suffering from synus ( Nose Diseases) Distance from my Village to Office is 87 km. Doctors Suggested me to change the place of Residence and Workig and not to Travel such a Distance Daily. I am Planing to go Hyderabad for better treatment and better conveyance. And my Brother is staying with his family (Wife) in Hyderabad so am planing to Stay with him .

Basing on the above reason I want to terminate my Articles . Please suggest me how to Proceed and what the Procedure i have to follow. Should i take any Permission from ICAI before sendig the Form 108, 109 ?

Hi jeju,

First , get a transfer recommendation letter from your current Boss stating " No objection in transfer of articles due to medical reasons" and with this attach copy of medical records stating your position and sent to institute with Request letter written by you asking permission for transfer.

Institute will permit your transfer on medical grounds ( the main thing for institute is your current boss approval letter + Medical certificates clearly stating your position)

Followup institute. once you are clear get 109 ( Termination form) signed by current boss and submit to institute. then find new boss in hyderabad get 108 signed by him. submit to institue.

Done.
