Tds revision matter
My employer had quotted wrong pan in form 16, after that he had revised the return on 16th jan, but till date no credit was given under 26AS, while asking for data from tax consultant, he was saying that since the process was online, nothing can be uploaded.
Is it true? & if something was genetated than pls tell me frm where & what r d forms. I am salary based employee.
Pl help as urgent as possible.

TDS return can be revised and the original TDS return will be replaced. So when the TDS return was revised on jan 16th, by now the 26AS must show the credit. Your tax consultant must have forgotten to file revised return and is now giving excuses. Take the print of 26AS and show him and ask him how come TDS return has been filed and I have not got the credit yet. Last date of filing ITR is 31st July.

But I forgot to mention that the data was related to financial yr 2011-2012 & the same was revised on 16th jan, 2013, he had shown the details but nowhere found that my pan was quotted to rectify the same.
