I wanted to know is it now mandatory to quote PAN of all the deductees who are getting payment of more than Rs. 1,50,000, even if TDS is not required to be deducted on their payments???

Hello Uma,

If the assesee/employee income above than this taxable income without deduction suppose to quote PAN of all the deductee in the tds return.

otherwise,

If the salary below than taxable income could not suppose to quote PAN of the deductee.

But it is now compulsory to quote PAN of all deductees to whom payment Rs.1,50,000 or more is made in nil return also in form 24Q.
