Dear Professionals,
I wish to know can a person verify whether other person has deducted, deposited and filed TDS Return or not.
Suppose a person A has deducted tax of B and he is repeatedly insisting to B that he has deposited the tax and also filed the TDS Return. However in 26AS of B it is not showing, is there a way out whether B can actually know or verify online that A has filed TDS return or not. Further, A is also not furnishing TDS Return to him right now saying he will give the same in due course.
Please advise and if there is no way out, I hope soon a mechanism is develop to solve this type of situation in future as well.
