What if employer even after deducting TDS refuse to Give us Form 16. Can he in future rejects(LIE) that he has not deducted TDS while income tax assessment. If he says like that and pay the tds on remaining amount can he recover the amount again from Employee. Please suggest.
He can't refuse to issue the Form 16. If he refuse ro give either that amount not remitted to the government dept. or there will be any misappropriation in the TDS deducted. You may have receive the salary slip from your HR per month. You have the receipt then you go to the department and consult this details. After that also, they refuse to give the form 16 then you give a complaint to TDS Department regarding this.
actually last w eek only i got my bonus and i resigned also after getting bonus. i have given them 1 month notice too
