Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the challenge of filing TCS Q4 without a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) due to office restrictions. Participants are concerned about potential penalties and interest under Section 234E for late filing, especially with no extension announced. Suggestions include exploring TIN-Facilitation Centres (TIN-FCs), though lockdown conditions make this difficult. Some express frustration and consider protests or legal action if the due date isn't extended.

Yes, late fee u/s 234E (Rs.200/day or liability whichever is less) applicable, as no extension has been provided so far. Also check the possibility of filing the same in TIN-FC if you are unable to file it online.

Agree with poornima
In a state of lockdown its unlikely that a facilitation center will be open. also there is a fear of getting caught by police. cbdt must extend the due date, there is no other way. else we might have to show our protest by not filing late fee and raise dispute in appellate forums.
someone must file a writ in supreme court if cbdt does not extend the due date.
